Working principle
When the grapple descends into the pile of material, through the operation of crane and other equipment, the transmission mechanism of the grapple moves, and the jaw plate gradually opens.
The grapple continues to descend, so that the material enters between the jaws.
The drive mechanism reverses the action and the jaws close, holding the material tightly.
When the grapple is lifted to the specified position, the jaws are opened again by the transmission mechanism to release the material.
The four-cable double-shell grab is primarily composed of a balance frame, upper support beam, support rod, lower support beam, upper and lower pulley blocks, and a double-shell bucket body. The double-shell bucket body opens and closes like a clam, with a beveled cutting edge at the front, which facilitates insertion into materials, reduces resistance, and enhances excavation force. Additionally, the grab adopts three-dimensional virtual design and undergoes strength checking and analysis using professional software to ensure reasonable weight distribution and a long service life.
