Four-link portal crane
Four-link portal crane has been extensively applied to loading and unloading at port and materiel handing at dockyard and metallurgy industry, the mainstructures are composedof steel frame, lifting mechanism, luffing mechanism, slewing mechanism, traveling mechanism,spreader device (grab, container spreader, and hook and electric dist), electrical equipment and other accessory equipments for safety.
Single-link portal crane
Single-link portal crane is a kind of hoisting machine especially used inport,harbour, dock, shipyard with small investment for loading and unloading front apron container, sundries and bulk cargo.It mainly includes the following units: crane strong steel frame, lifting mechanism,luffing mechanism, slewing mechanism, traveling mechanism
Working Principles
The four-link level luffing crane operates on a mechanism consisting of four links joined together by pins. The crane boom is suspended from the top of the fourth link and moves up and down as the links pivot around the pins. The first and second links are fixed to the crane base, while the third link is connected to a hydraulic cylinder that controls the luffing motion of the boom.
As the hydraulic cylinder extends and retracts, the third link moves and causes the fourth link and the boom to luff up and down. The fourth link is also capable of slewing around the crane base, which allows the crane to move the load horizontally.
The four-link level luffing crane is designed for efficient and precise load handling in construction, shipbuilding, and other heavy industries. Its unique mechanism provides stable lifting and lowering of loads with minimal swinging and swaying, making it ideal for operations in confined spaces or areas with high wind loads.
