Radio Remote Controlled Grab

The Radio Remote Controlled Grab is an intelligent handling system that utilizes wireless technology for efficient loading and unloading of bulk materials such as coal, ores, grains, and scrap steel. Unlike traditional wired or mechanical grabs, these devices transmit commands via wireless signals, offering greater operational flexibility and enhanced safety. 1.Grab Body
Typically made of high-strength steel, it features a double- or multi-petal structure and can be opened and closed via hydraulic or motor drive.

Some models are equipped with a rotation function to adjust the grasping angle.

2.Wireless Remote Control System

Transmitter (Remote Control): A handheld device. The operator sends instructions through buttons or joysticks, with an effective control range of 100–300 meters (in an anti-interference environment).

Receiver: Installed on the grab or crane to receive signals and convert them into mechanical actions.

3.Power System

Hydraulic Drive: Commonly used in large grabs, it controls opening and closing via hydraulic cylinders, providing strong force and high stability.

Electric Drive: Suitable for small and medium-sized grabs, offering simple maintenance and fast response.

4.Safety Devices
Emergency stop button, signal loss protection (automatic lock or stop action), overload protection, etc.

This single-rope grab is wirelessly controlled via a remote device. Its enclosed hydraulic system and wireless control mechanism ensure reliability, stability, and efficiency. Widely used in ships, docks, stations, factories, and mines, it performs effectively in harsh environments, including high temperatures, extreme cold, dusty conditions, and rainy weather. With a remote control range exceeding 100 meters and continuous operation lasting over 100 hours, it is suitable for handling materials with bulk densities ranging from 0.9 to 2.5 t/m³.
